NISH Housing membership is open to all Nigerian individuals, organizations and cooperatives with verifiable sources of income, record of consistent savings, and ability to provide equity contributions towards acquiring desired properties including those in public and private employment, artisans, self-employed and retirees.

Submit Application
Download and fully complete the NISH membership application form. Ensure all attachments (including application payment slip) are included before submission.

Application Review
NISH agents will review your completed membership application. Help us keep in touch by ensuring that your contact information is up to date.

Activate Membership
We will notify you by email when your application has been approved. You can then activate your membership by paying membership dues.

Membership Considerations
Membership Eligibility
Individual Member – must be 18 years and above and have a source of income that can be verified
Corporate Member – duly registered with the appropriate authorities in Nigeria
Partner Member – registration with appropriate authorities and evidence of involvement in social housing
How do I become a member?
- Fill out the NISH Application Form
- Pay the 1 time Registration fee and annual Membership fee
- Get your membership number from the office
- Get a membership notification within 21 days
- Start Identifying a project and invest in it

What is the membership subscription period?
Our subscription period for all NISH members runs from the 1 May to 30 April each year, and you’ll receive an invoice by email (or post if we do not have a valid email address for you) for your renewal fee shortly after the 1 May.
What options are there to make payment for registration and membership?
Direct Debit
Set up a Direct Debit for your annual subscription fee and receive a £5 discount. You will need to log into your ACT web account to access the page.
Credit or Debit Card
Make a secure online payment with a card via our Worldpay provider. We accept credit and debit cards from VISA, Mastercard, Maestro and American Express.
Bank Transfer
If you would like to pay with a bank transfer please ensure that you use your invoice number as a reference and send the remittance advice to invoices@nish.com. NISH Cooperative account information is as follows: Skye Bank: Account Number: 1140147197
What are the registration fees?
There is a non-refundable application processing fee applicable to the different membership groups:
- Individual Member- N2000
- Corporate Member – N5000
- Partner Member – N5000
This one-time registration fee is applicable only for new members
Members' Affordability Profiling
To be fully confirmed as a member of NISH, individuals and corporate bodies will be required to give their consent to NISH to prepare an affordability profile and provide the necessary documentation to assist with this such bank statements, appointment and promotion letters, and other necessary documents to be determined by NISH from time to time.
Members' Equity and Investment Savings
NISH has flexible savings and investment opportunities for members to accumulate funds
towards their equity contribution in NISH housing projects and for investment in NISH
Value Chain Ventures. Members who voluntarily invest will earn returns in accordance with
the profitability of the investments.
